Non-urgent advice: Electronic Prescribing Service
This practice is set up for the electronic prescription service.
This means that for most patients we can send your prescription directly to your chosen chemist, without you having to come down to the surgery to collect the physical slip.
To get your prescription sent to your chosen pharmacy you will have to ask reception to set your "Nominated Pharmacy" when you next visit or speak with us.

Non-urgent advice: Repeat Prescriptions
If you are on a repeat medication you will be given a re-order slip attached to your prescription which can be used to order your next prescription.
We suggest that to increase patient safety and accuracy when requesting repeat prescriptions, repeats are requested digitally using our online service website, SystmOnline via the "Order your repeat prescription online" link at the top of this page or via SystmOnlines Airmid app available in the Apple or Android app stores.
To use this facility please call in at the surgery with ID to enable us to activate the service.
Once you are set up for our online services you will also be able to arrange your repeat prescriptions via the NHS App.
Please allow two full working days for prescriptions to be processed and sent to the pharmacy to be distributed. Please remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account.
Please notify us if the hospital changes your medication.
Non-urgent advice: Medication Reviews
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see or speak to a doctor, practice pharmacist or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and we ainm to invite you to these reviews during the month of your birthday to better align the care and checks you need. Notification should also appear on your repeat slip.
Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
